How FaceDuel works

From two photos to one crown in three steps.

1. Pick your contenders

Choose two photos, one face in each. Selfies, turned heads and big expressions are all welcome, and iPhone photos work too. Clear, well-lit photos give the best results.

2. The AI maps both faces

An AI face model finds hundreds of points on each face: the eyes, brows, nose, lips and jawline. The dots you see during “Scanning both faces…” are the points it really found. It all happens right on your device, so your photos are never uploaded.

3. The crown goes to…

FaceDuel compares facial symmetry and proportions and crowns a winner. When the two are too close to call, it's a dead heat. The same two photos always give the same result, so if you want a rematch, try different photos!

Just for fun. Symmetry and proportions are a playful stand-in, not a real measure of beauty, attractiveness or anyone's worth. Beauty is personal, and no app can decide it.
